Eligibility Details
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream from recognized university in India or equivalent.
Selection Procedure — Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Competitive Examination 2025
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Screening Only)
- Objective type exam
- 2 Papers: General Studies I & II
- Each paper: 200 marks (Total 400)
- 100 questions per paper
- Duration: 2 hours each
- No negative marking
- Used only for shortlisting
- About 15× vacancies candidates qualify for Mains
Stage 2: Main Examination (Final Merit Stage)
A. Written Exam (Descriptive)
- Total 6 compulsory papers
- Paper I (Hindi & English)
- 100 marks
- Qualifying only (min 30 marks needed)
- Not counted in merit
- Paper II–VI
- Total 950 marks
- Counted for final merit
B. Interview (Personality Test)
- Called based on Mains written marks (Paper II–VI)

Final Merit Calculation
