Eligibility Details

• Must have passed 12th (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
• Appearing candidates are not eligible.
• Mark sheet/certificate must be available at the time of application.

Important Medical & Procedural Points

• Must be physically and mentally fit.
• No knock knees, flat feet, varicose veins, or color blindness.
• Objection on PST measurement can be filed on the same day.
• Pregnant female candidates should not appear in PET.

UP Police Constable Bharti 2025-26 Selection Procedure

1. Written Examination

• Mode: Offline (OMR Based)
• Total Marks: 300
• Questions: 150 Objective Questions
• Time: 2 Hours
• Marks per Question: 2 Marks

Subjects:

• General Knowledge
• General Hindi
• Numerical & Mental Ability
• Mental Aptitude, IQ & Reasoning
• Normalization will apply if exam is held in multiple shifts.

2. Document Verification & Physical Standard Test (PST)

• Verification of education, age and reservation certificates
• Physical measurement:
  • Height & Chest for Male
  • Height & Weight for Female
• This stage is qualifying in nature.

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Failure to qualify will lead to disqualification.

4. Final Merit List

• Prepared on the basis of written exam marks only
• Category-wise merit list

Tie-break rule:

• Preference to candidates with O Level, NCC B or Territorial Army service
• If still equal, older candidate gets preference
• No waiting list is prepared

5. Medical Test & Character Verification

• Medical fitness is compulsory
• Character verification must be clear
