UCO Bank Apprentice – Selection Procedure

Step 1: Registration & Application

  • Candidates must register on the NATS portalhttps://nats.education.gov.in and note their Enrolment ID.
  • After registration, candidates will receive an email from BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) to fill the detailed application form and pay the exam fee online.
  • Payment Dates: 21.10.2025 to 05.11.2025
  • Candidates who do not pay the fee will not be allowed for the exam.

Step 2: Online Entrance Examination

  • Date: 09.11.2025
  • Time: 11:00 AM
  • Mode: Online (from home using a camera-enabled device)
  • Conducted by: BFSI SSC
  • ID Proof Required: Aadhaar Card (same as on NATS portal)

Step 3: Merit List & Shortlisting

  • Minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the bank.
  • 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
  • Merit list will be prepared State-wise and Category-wise based on exam scores.
  • In case of a tie, older candidates will be ranked higher.
  • Results will be published on the Bank’s website.
  • A waitlist may be maintained for future vacancies.

Step 4: Final Selection

  • Local Language Test:
    • Candidates must know the local language (read, write, speak, understand).
    • Those with a 10th/12th certificate showing study of the local language are exempt.
    • Failure in this test leads to disqualification.
  • Document Verification & Medical Fitness:
    • Candidates must produce original certificates for verification.
    • Final engagement depends on being medically fit as per bank norms.
