Eligibility Details

• Must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation)
• Must have a National Trade Certificate (NTC/ITI) in the respective trade
• Must also have a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade
• Minimum marks required: 60% for General & OBC, 55% for SC & ST candidates in both NTC/ITI and NAC.

Job Type, Salary & Other Details

1. First 1 Year (Temporary Period)	Salary = Minimum Wages of the Unit (decided as per Govt. rules)	You will work as a Temporary Employee for 1 year only
2. After 1 Year (Regular Employee – Artisan Grade-IV)	Salary = ₹29,500 to ₹65,000 (starting at ₹29,500)	You will become a permanent employee and also get allowances like DA, HRA, etc.
3. If You Are a Best Apprentice	Salary = ₹29,500 to ₹65,000 + 2 extra increments	Directly join as Artisan Grade-IV (higher starting pay than others)
4. If You Are a Runner-Up Apprentice	Salary = ₹29,500 to ₹65,000 (starting at minimum ₹29,500)	Directly join as Artisan Grade-IV

Selection Procedure

Stage I: Computer-Based Examination (CBE)

• All candidates must appear in the CBE for their respective trades.
• Shortlisting for Skill Test:
  • Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio (five times the number of vacancies) in each trade/category.
  • PwD & Ex-Servicemen will get relaxation in cut-off marks.

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• Shortlisting process:
  • UR candidates and reserved category candidates (who do not avail the relaxation) are grouped together first and arranged by CBE marks. They are shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio under the UR category.
  • Remaining EWS/OBC/SC/ST candidates are then regrouped within their own categories and shortlisted in 1:5 ratio.
• Language options:
  • CBE will be trilingual: Hindi, English, and one regional language (Kannada/Telugu/Tamil).
  • Foundryman trade → Only Hindi & English.
  • Electronics Mechanic trade → Hindi, English & Kannada.

Stage II: Skill Test & Document Verification

• Mandatory for all shortlisted candidates.
• Document Verification (DV):
  • Candidates must produce ITI & NAC mark sheets and other eligibility documents.
  • Failure to produce documents = rejection.
• Skill Test:
  • Qualifying in nature (marks not added in merit).
  • Candidates can use Hindi, English, or their vernacular language to address the committee.

• Prepared only on the basis of the CBE Score.
• Only candidates who qualify in Skill Test + DV will be included in the merit list.
