Eligibility Details
- Diploma (2 years full time) in Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) from a recognized ANM training institute.
- Registration of candidates from the Bihar Nurses Registration Council is also necessary.

Selection Procedure – Bihar ANM Recruitment 2025
- Stage 1 – Computer Based Test (CBT)
- 60 MCQs (1 mark each), total 60 marks
- Weightage: 80% in final selection
- No negative marking
- Bilingual: English & Hindi
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- General/EWS: 40%
- BC: 36.5%
- EBC: 34%
- SC/ST/Divyang/Female: 32%
- Syllabus will be published on official website
- Normalization if exam held in multiple shifts
- Stage 2 – Additional Marks for Experience
- Up to 20 marks for COVID-19 related work
- 5 marks per year (max 20 marks)
- Merit List
- Based on CBT marks + experience marks
- Tie-breaker: Higher 10th marks → Older age → Name alphabetical
- Stage 3 – Document Verification / Counselling
- Shortlisting ratio: 1:2.5 (2.5 times vacancies)
- Must bring all original documents + 1 self-attested copy
- Missing originals = claim will not be accepted

- Combined merit of CBT + experience marks + document verification
