Selection Procedure

- Tier II – Main Examination (Online Objective Test)
- Regional Language Test

Final selection is based on marks obtained in the Main Examination and qualification in the Regional Language Test, subject to medical fitness.
Tier I – Preliminary Examination
- Mode: Online (Objective Type)

- Duration: 60 minutes (1 hour)

Regional Language Test
- Purpose: To ensure candidates are proficient in the regional language of the State/UT applied for
- Nature: Qualifying only (no marks added to final score)
- Disqualification: Candidates not proficient in the language will be disqualified
- Documents Required: Original and self-attested copies of relevant eligibility and ID documents must be produced
Other Important Aspects
- Merit List:
- Final merit prepared state-wise and category-wise
- Based on marks in Main Exam only (Language Test must be qualified)
- Medical Fitness: Appointment subject to being medically fit as per Company norms
- Contingency List: May be used if main list candidates don’t join
- Identity Verification:
- Carry Call Letter, original photo ID, and photocopy of the same to exam & language test
- Name mismatch or absence of documents = disqualification
- Biometric Data:
- Fingerprint & photo may be captured during Main Exam
- Used again at later stages for verification
- Scribe Facility:
- Allowed for visually impaired or candidates with affected writing speed
- Scribe should not be appearing for the same exam
- Extra time: 20 minutes per hour of exam
- Application Rules:
- Apply for only one State/UT
- Multiple applications will be rejected
- No data modification after registration
- False information = Cancellation of candidature at any stage
