Navy SSC IT Executive

• 60% marks in English in Class 10 or 12 • 60% overall marks in qualifying degree • Only Unmarried candidates are eligible • One of the following degrees: 1. MSc / BE / B.Tech / M.Tech in:  Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Systems, Cyber Security, System Administration & Networking, Computer Systems & Networking, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence OR 2. MCA with BCA or BSc (Computer Science / IT)

Navy SSC IT Executive – Selection Procedure

1. Shortlisting of Applications

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on normalized marks in the qualifying degree.
• Normalization method is available on the Indian Navy website.

Shortlisting Criteria:

• BE/B.Tech (Completed or Final Year): Marks up to 5th semester will be considered.
• MSc / MCA / M.Tech (Completed): Marks of all semesters will be considered.
• MSc / MCA / M.Tech (Final Year): Marks till pre-final year will be considered.
• NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:
  • 5% relaxation in cut-off marks.
  • Must have minimum ‘B’ Grade, served at least 2 academic years.
  • Certificate must be dated 01 Jan 2023 or later.

2. SSB Interview

• Shortlisted candidates will receive SSB interview call via email or SMS.
• Call-up letter must be downloaded upon intimation.
• Change of SSB center is not allowed.
• First-time SSB candidates are eligible for AC 3-tier rail fare reimbursement.
  • Must carry a copy of passbook front page or cancelled cheque.
• No compensation for injuries during SSB tests.
• Detailed SSB procedure is available on the Indian Navy website.

3. Medical Examination

• Candidates recommended by SSB must undergo a medical exam.
• No relaxation in medical standards.
• Change of medical center is not permitted.
• Medical guidelines are available on the Indian Navy website.

4. Final Merit List & Appointment

• Final merit list is based on SSB marks.
• Only medically fit candidates will be appointed.
• Appointment is subject to police verification, character verification, and vacancy availability.

5. Important Notes

• Candidature can be cancelled at any stage due to:
  • False declaration / misinformation
  • Use or possession of drugs/narcotics
  • Ineligibility found during scrutiny
• Final selected candidates must submit proof of:
  • Qualifying degree completion with minimum 60% marks
  • Submission deadline: January 2026
  • Failure to submit will result in cancellation of joining at INA, Ezhimala.
