Selection Procedure
• Merit list will be prepared based on average percentage of marks in 10th (matric) and ITI.
• Minimum 50% marks required in 10th class, considering all subjects (not best of five).
• ITI marks will be considered as mentioned in final/provisional NCVT or SCVT certificate.
• Merit list will be prepared separately for each Division/Workshop, trade, and category.
• If marks are equal, the older candidate will be given preference.
• If date of birth is also same, candidate who passed 10th earlier will be preferred.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV).
• Candidates must bring online application printout and original documents for DV.
• Medical fitness is mandatory for final selection.
• Candidate must bring medical certificate signed by a Government Gazetted Doctor (Assistant Surgeon or above).
• PwBD and Ex-Servicemen slots are included within total vacancies, not separate.
• Railway administration’s decision regarding selection and eligibility will be final.
