Selection Procedure
- Merit List: Prepared on the basis of average marks in 10th + ITI (trade-wise, division/unit-wise, category-wise).
- Tie-Breaker: Preference to older candidate; if same DOB, then earlier passed in 10th will be preferred.
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates must appear at the applied unit with application printout and documents. DV will be done only at the applied unit (no change allowed).
- Final Selection: Candidates found suitable after DV will be engaged as apprentices. Final list will match available slots.
- Allotment Flexibility: If slots remain vacant in any unit, RRC may shift waitlisted candidates to other units as per merit.
- Note: Number of training slots may increase or decrease.

How to apply for WCR Apprentice Recruitment 2025
- Apply Online only at 👉 www.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in (No other mode allowed).
- Dates: Apply between 30/08/2025 to 29/09/2025 (23:59 hrs).
- Application Fee:
- Rs. 141/- (Rs.100 Fee + Rs.41 Processing) – for all others.
- Rs. 41/- (Processing only) – for SC/ST/PwBD/Women.
- Payment: Pay online through the portal → Save/print e-receipt after successful payment.
- Documents Required (scanned JPG, 50–200kb):
- Recent photo & signature.
- 10th mark sheet & certificate.
- ITI certificate & mark sheet (NCVT/SCVT).
- Caste/EWS/PwBD certificate (if applicable).
- Steps to Apply:

- Fill application carefully (details must match 10th certificate).
- Provide valid mobile number & email ID.
