Selection Procedure for Non-Teaching Staff (Group C & D)
1. Application and Scrutiny
- Candidates apply online through the official website.
- The Commission prepares a database and checks age and qualifications.
2. Written Examination (OMR Based)
- Admit cards are issued online.
- Exam is OMR-based with multiple-choice questions.
- Syllabus, duration, and pattern are decided by the Commission.
- Answer key is uploaded after the exam.
- OMR sheets are evaluated centrally.
3. Evaluation and Interview
- A preliminary merit score is prepared using written exam marks, academic qualifications, and work experience.
- Candidates are called for interview in a ratio of 2:1 (two times the number of vacancies).
- If multiple candidates have the same score, all are called for interview.
4. Post-wise Selection and Marks Distribution
- Librarian
- Written Exam: 75 marks
- Academic Qualification: 10 marks
- Experience: 5 marks
- Interview: 10 marks
- Age: 20–40 years
- Clerk
- Written Exam: 60 marks
- Academic Qualification: 10 marks
- Experience: 5 marks
- Interview: 10 marks
- Computer Typing & Proficiency: 15 marks
- Age: 18–40 years
- Group D Staff
- Written Exam: 40 marks
- Experience: 5 marks
- Interview: 5 marks
- Age: 18–40 years
5. Merit List and Counseling
- A Combined Merit List (CML) is prepared region-wise.
- A panel and waiting list are created.
- Counseling is held for school choices.
- Selected candidates are recommended to the Board for appointment.
6. Tie-Breaking Rules
- If total marks are the same, higher academic score is given preference.
- If still tied, the older candidate is preferred.
