Eligibility Details
- Must be a Law Graduate (LLB) from a Bar Council of India recognized institute.
- Final year law students are also eligible, subject to proof before joining.
- Must have good research skills, analytical skills, writing skills, and knowledge of e-SCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw.
- Selected candidates cannot practice as an Advocate or take any other job during the term.
Selection Procedure – Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate
Phase I: Online Objective Test
- Mode: Online (MCQ based)
- Tests: Legal knowledge and comprehension
- Negative marking: 0.25 mark for each wrong answer
- Qualifying marks: Minimum 60% required
Phase II: Written Test
- Mode: Questions on computer, answers in pen-paper mode
- Tests: Writing and analytical skills
- Evaluation: Only shortlisted candidates will be evaluated in a 1:10 ratio based on Phase I merit
Phase III: Interview
- Only candidates qualified in Phase I and II will be called
- Interview call ratio: 1:3 against vacancies
Other Important Points
- Phase I and Phase II will be held on the same day in two sessions
- Exam will be conducted in 23 cities across India
- Final selection depends on eligibility, document verification, and formalities
