High Primary School Teacher (Level-II, Class 6–8) – Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern

Stage 1: Competitive Examination

  • Final selection is entirely based on marks scored in the written competitive exam.

Stage 2: Shortlisting & Document Verification

  • RSSB (Rajasthan Staff Selection Board) prepares a shortlist based on exam scores.
  • Shortlisted candidates undergo document verification by the concerned department.
  • Only candidates whose documents are verified as correct and valid will move forward.

Stage 3: Final Merit List

  • After document verification, a final merit list is prepared.
  • Merit is arranged subject-wise and category-wise, according to the number of advertised vacancies.
  • The final list is forwarded to the department for appointment.

Tie-Breaking Rules (If Two Candidates Score Same Marks)

  1. Older Age
    • The candidate with higher age gets higher rank.
  2. Higher Educational Qualification
    • If age is same, the candidate with higher qualification is preferred.
  3. Higher Percentage in Required Qualification
    • If still tied, percentage in the prescribed qualification is compared.
  4. Earlier Year of Passing
    • If everything is same, the candidate who passed the required qualification earlier gets preference.
