Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor	Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.
Station Master	Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.
Goods Train Manager	Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.
Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist	Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent. Typing skill on computer is mandatory (30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi).
Senior Clerk Cum Typist	Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent. Typing skill on computer is mandatory (30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi).
Traffic Assistant	Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.

Selection Procedure (CEN No. 06/2025)

1. 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) – Common for all posts
2. 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
3. Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) – for Typist posts
4. Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) – for Station Master & Traffic Assistant
5. Document Verification (DV)
6. Medical Examination (ME)

All selected candidates will finally undergo Document Verification and Medical Examination.

1st Stage CBT

• Common for all posts.
• Used to shortlist candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT (around 15 times the number of vacancies).
• Marks are normalized and used only for shortlisting.
• Minimum qualifying marks:
  • UR/EWS: 40%, OBC: 30%, SC: 30%, ST: 25%
  • PwBD candidates get 2% relaxation if required to fill reserved vacancies.

2nd Stage CBT

• Shortlisting based on marks of the 1st Stage CBT.
• Marks are used for final merit and to shortlist for CBTST/CBAT/DV.
• Minimum qualifying marks: Same as 1st Stage CBT.

Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST)

• Applicable for: Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist & Senior Clerk Cum Typist.
• Shortlisting: Up to 8 times the number of vacancies.
• Qualifying nature: Marks are not added in final merit.
• Typing speed required:
  • 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on computer (without editing tools).

Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)

• Applicable for: Station Master & Traffic Assistant.
• Qualifying Marks: Minimum T-score of 42 in each test battery (no relaxation for any category).
• Shortlisting: Up to 8 times the number of vacancies.
• Candidates must bring a valid Vision Certificate at the time of CBAT.
• Final merit:
  • 2nd Stage CBT – 70% weightage
  • CBAT – 30% weightage

Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination (ME)

• Candidates are called for DV equal to the number of vacancies.
• Final selection depends on performance in CBT/CBAT/CBTST and verification of documents.
• Candidates must pass the medical fitness test required for the post (e.g., A2 standard for Station Master & Traffic Assistant).
