Selection Procedure
- Merit List Basis: Selection based on average % of 10th + ITI marks (equal weightage).
- No Exam/Interview: Only marks are considered.
- Tie-Breaking:
- Older candidate preferred.
- If same DOB, earlier matriculation pass-out preferred.
- Shortlisting: Candidates called for Document Verification (DV) in 1.5 times the number of vacancies.
- DV Requirements: Original documents, photocopies, and Medical Fitness Certificate (from authorized doctor).
- Final Merit List: Prepared Unit-wise, Trade-wise, Community-wise in descending order of marks.
- Allotment: Based on merit and division/workshop preference; redistribution possible if needed.
- Standby List: Issued for absentees, rejected, or medically unfit candidates.
- Final Selection: After DV & medical fitness, candidates sign Apprenticeship Training Contract.
