Eligibility Details

1. General

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWBD)
    OR PG/MBA/PGDM with 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWBD)
    OR CA / CS / CMA / ICWA
    OR Ph.D.

2. Chartered Accountant

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • ICAI Membership (on or before 01-11-2025)

3. Company Secretary

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • ICSI Membership (on or before 01-11-2025)

4. Finance

  • BBA/BMS (Finance/Banking) with 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWBD)
    OR MBA/PGDM/MMS (Finance) with 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWBD) + Bachelor’s Degree
    OR BFIA with 60% (55% SC/ST/PWBD)
    OR CA / CMA (ICWA) Membership (before 01-11-2025)

5. Computer / Information Technology

Selection Procedure

The recruitment happens in 4 stages:

1. Phase I – Preliminary Exam (Online)

  • Total: 200 marks, 120 minutes
  • Two sections:
    • Qualifying Section: Reasoning, English, Computer, Quant, Decision Making
    • Merit Section: General Awareness, Eco & Social Issues, ARD
  • Shortlisting based only on Merit Section marks
  • Negative marking: 1/4th
  • Ratio for Mains: 1:25

2. Phase II – Main Exam (Online)

Two papers:

Paper I – General English (Descriptive)

  • 3 questions, 100 marks, 90 minutes

Paper II – Stream-Specific Paper

  • Objective: 50 marks, 30 minutes
  • Descriptive: 50 marks, 90 minutes (attempt 4 out of 6)
  • Negative marking: 1/4th
  • Cut-offs applied on each test and overall

3. Phase III – Psychometric Test

  • Mandatory
  • MCQ-based, 90 minutes

4. Phase IV – Interview

  • 50 marks
  • Ratio: 1:3

Selection happens in 2 stages + Psychometric Test:

1. Online Examination

  • Total: 200 marks, 120 minutes
  • Tests: Reasoning, English, General Awareness (Banking), Professional Knowledge
  • Negative marking: 1/4th
  • Cut-offs applied test-wise and total score-wise

2. Psychometric Test

  • Mandatory
  • MCQ-based, 90 minutes
  • Only those who appear in this test are considered for Interview

3. Interview

  • 50 marks
  • Ratio: 1:3

Final Selection

  • RDBS/Legal: Based on Main Exam + Interview
  • P&SS: Based on Online Exam + Interview

Tie-Breaking

In case of equal final marks:

  1. Higher marks in Main/Online Exam
  2. If still tied → Higher qualification or higher graduation marks
  3. If still tied → Older candidate gets higher rank
