Eligibility Details

  • Candidate must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Applications (e.g., M.Sc., M.Tech, M.E., or MCA) with at least 55% marks (or 50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD or degrees awarded before 19 Sept 1991).
  • Must have qualified NET/SET or hold a Ph.D. awarded as per UGC Regulations (2009/2016), which gives exemption from NET/SET.

Selection Procedure

1. Competitive Examination (Written Test)

  • Type: Objective (Multiple Choice) questions on OMR Sheet.
  • Exam Date: 04 January 2026
  • Weightage: 60% of the total marks in final selection.
  • Purpose: To shortlist candidates for the interview round.
  • If selection is made only through the exam (when no interview is held), results will be published directly on the official website.

2. Interview (Personality Test)

  • Only candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for the interview.
  • Ratio: Generally, 3 candidates per post (1:3) are invited.
  • Weightage: 40% of the total marks in final selection.
  • Final selection list is prepared after the interview.

3. Final Merit and Document Verification

  • Final merit is prepared based on:
    Competitive Exam – 60% + Interview – 40%
  • Candidates must bring all original certificates during the interview.
  • Failure to produce original documents may lead to cancellation of candidature.
  • The list of selected candidates for the interview and the final results will be published on the official website.
