Jharkhand ANM 2025: Salary Details

• Starting Salary: 25,500 per month (Approx)
• Pay Scale (7th Pay Commission): Level-04

Selection Procedure

Main Examination

• Single Stage Exam: Only one stage – the Main Examination.
• Mode: May be OMR-based or Computer-Based Test (CBT).
• Type: Objective-type, multiple-choice questions.
• Marking Scheme:
  • Each correct answer = 1 mark
  • No negative marking
• Language: Hindi and English.
• Duration: 60 minutes.
• Total Questions: 50
• Normalization: Will be applied if exam is held in multiple shifts.

Merit List Formation

• The merit list will be based on a total of 150 marks, calculated as follows:

• Tie-Breaking Rules:
  • Older age will be preferred if marks are equal.
  • If age is also same, alphabetical order (English name) will be used.
• Reserved Candidates in General Merit:
  • If a reserved candidate qualifies in unreserved merit, they will be counted under UR quota but retain their category tag.

Document Verification (Certificate Scrutiny)

• Admit Card = Provisional: Appearing in exam doesn’t confirm final eligibility.
• Post-exam Scrutiny: Only shortlisted candidates’ certificates will be verified.
• Mandatory Presence: Candidates must appear with original documents.
• Required Documents:
  • Local residency certificate
  • Caste certificate (or EWS certificate)
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Experience certificate (for contractual)
  • All certificates must be in the prescribed format and valid as of the application deadline.
• Special Notes for Married Women:
  • Caste certificate based on father’s name and permanent address is valid.
  • Local certificate can be from either father or husband.
  • Women who migrated to Jharkhand due to marriage are not eligible for reservation.
• Rejection Reasons:
  • Not submitting documents.
  • Submitting false/incomplete documents.
  • Not appearing for verification.
  • Mismatch in names/spellings with Matric certificate.

Final Selection and Appointment

• No Guaranteed Job: Clearing the exam doesn’t ensure appointment.
• Character & Background Check: Appointment subject to police verification and suitability for public service.
• Reservation Rules: Followed as per Jharkhand Government norms for SC, ST, EBC-1, and BC-2.
• Commission’s Authority:
  • Final decision on eligibility.
  • Right to change exam schedule due to unavoidable reasons.
