IBPS CRP RRBs XIV – Selection Procedure

1. Application Process

  • Candidates can apply for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and one post from Officer Cadre (Scale-I, Scale-II, or Scale-III).
  • Separate applications and fees must be submitted for each post.
  • Online application dates: September 1, 2025 to September 21, 2025.
  • Eligibility (education and experience) must be met as of September 21, 2025.

2. Online Examinations (Conducted by IBPS)

Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.

(a) Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

  • Two stages: Preliminary Exam and Main Exam.
  • Must qualify in Prelims to appear for Mains.
  • Final merit list based only on Main Exam marks.

(b) Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)

  • Two stages: Preliminary Exam and Main Exam.
  • Must qualify in Prelims to appear for Mains.
  • Must score minimum cut-off in each section of Mains to be shortlisted for Interview.
  • Final merit is based on Main Exam and Interview.

(c) Officer Scale-II (Generalist/Specialist) and Scale-III (Senior Manager)

  • Single Online Examination (no Prelims).
  • Must score minimum cut-off in each section.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.
  • Final merit is based on Single Exam and Interview.

3. Interview (Only for Officer Posts)

  • Applicable for Officer Scale-I, II, and III.
  • Conducted by Nodal RRBs with support from NABARD and IBPS.
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Qualifying Marks: 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)
  • Weightage: Exam 80%, Interview 20%
  • Final merit is based on combined score (Exam and Interview).
  • Candidates must bring original and self-attested documents.

4. Provisional Allotment

  • Based on merit, preference, and vacancies reported by RRBs.
  • Office Assistants and Officer Scale-I: Allotment restricted to RRBs of the chosen State.
  • Officer Scale-II and Scale-III: Allotment to any RRB based on merit and preference.
  • Tie-breaking rule: Older candidate (by date of birth) placed higher.
  • Validity: CRP RRBs XIV is valid for one year from the date of allotment (unless extended).
  • A reserve list may be prepared but does not guarantee allotment.
  • No requests for change of allotment will be entertained.
  • Appointment is subject to medical fitness and document verification.
