Eligibility Details
- Degree (Graduation) in any stream from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government
- Local Language test will be taken (Exempted if studied in 10th/12th standard).
- Candidates must have 18 months or more work experience in an Officer cadre in any Public Sector Bank/Regional Rural Bank on a regular basis.
- Experience from NBFCs, Cooperative banks, private banks, payment banks, small finance banks, or fintechs will not be considered.
- An experience certificate, as per Annexure – I, must be submitted at the time of application
Selection Procedure
Written Test (Online Exam)
- Total 120 questions, 120 marks, 120 minutes.
- Sections: English Language (30), Banking Knowledge (40), General Awareness/Economy (30), Computer Aptitude (20).
- Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (UR/EWS), 35% (Reserved).
- Bank may change qualifying criteria.
Screening
- Shortlisting based on written test performance.
- Candidates with same cutoff marks ranked by age (descending).
Personal Interview
- Conducted for shortlisted candidates, generally in New Delhi.
- Carries 30% weightage in final merit.
- Venue, date, and time informed via email/call letter.
Local Language Proficiency Test
- Test of reading, writing, and understanding local language.
- Mandatory before joining.
- Exempted if studied in 10th/12th standard.
Final Merit List & Selection
- Final scores = 70% weightage from written test + 30% from interview.
- Merit list prepared state-wise and category-wise.
- Appointment subject to language test, document verification, medical fitness, police verification, and service bond.

- Go to Home Page → Recruitment → Select Notification and register online
- Keep ready: scanned photo, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration (in required size & format)
